Job Description

IBM is seeking a skilled and curious Data Analyst to join its Business Analytics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights that guide key business decisions. You will work closely with departments like sales, marketing, product, and finance to deliver strategic data reports, dashboards, and analysis.

Your responsibilities will include gathering and cleaning large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and visualizing data using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or IBM Cognos. You’ll use SQL, Python, and Excel to conduct exploratory data analysis and generate forecasts or predictive models.

Attention to detail is critical, as your insights will directly influence marketing campaigns, budgeting, product roadmaps, and customer experience initiatives. You’ll also assist with A/B testing, KPI tracking, and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear, digestible format.

An ideal candidate holds a degree in data science, statistics, economics, or a related field, and has 1–3 years of hands-on analytics experience. Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (like Snowflake or Redshift) is a plus.
